For Ally and David’s engagement session, we got to switch things up and try an indoor studio shoot! When looking at the weather for the weekend, it was funny to feel free of whatever rain, clouds, or chill was in the forecast since we would be safe and sound in Atelier.

Although this was my first time meeting Ally, our families go way back. Her dad was the youth pastor at the church my parents attended just before they were married. My mom remembered Ally when she was young running around the church! Later when it came time for her to pick her wedding vendors, this long time connection brought us together.

We started the session in beautiful Atelier studios and then stepped outside at the end for a few on the iconic Memorial Steps. I love that Ally wore her Birkenstocks to really feel herself in the photos. She told us that her Blundstones and Birks are her go to shoes and we definitely relate to that.
