I first met Ellie when I photographed a group senior session at Liberty University. She was one of eight girls graduating with a degree in accounting and we did all of their photos in one go! So many beautiful faces, so many locations, so many laughs. I was beyond excited when she reached out again to schedule a graduation shoot with her boyfriend Cole. After already having taken photos at LU, Ellie and Cole decided on doing something different and out in nature. After a couple disappointments and having to go back to the drawing board, we landed this stunning overlook in the blue-ridge parkway. I couldn’t be happier that our original spots didn’t work out because this location was PERFECT for Ellie and Cole.
After a scenic drive through rural Virginia, we came to Raven’s Roost and took in the breathtaking 180 views of rolling periwinkle mountains. My favorite details; the little rainbow that my camera caught, Ellie’s cute ruffle romper, the 70 degree breezy weather, and the spot on the side of the road that had the most beautiful light.
Celebrating because these two are graduating!
