Ally and David’s wedding day was so overflowing with joy. Surrounded by their friends and family on a perfectly sunny and breezy May weekend, they soaked up every moment and treasured this life-changing commitment.
Many years ago, Ally’s dad was the youth pastor at church my grandfather pastored. It was so fun to see our families paths cross again. I enjoyed hearing jokes and memories about my mom and dad from Tim White throughout the day.
The day started with veil steaming, Stanley tumbler mugs, and visits from Ally’s nieces and nephews. As we got closer to the first look, the nerves began to emerge. Once Ally and David saw each other, they were immediately calm and bursting with excitement for the ceremony and reception to come.
After Ally and David walked down the isle together, they shared the sweetest squeals of excitement. My photo of them moments after saying their “I do’s” is one of my favorites from the day.
They kicked the evening off with a lavender toss exit under a pale purple sunset. I’m so honored to have shared this day with them!
