I’ve been waiting a long time for the day when I could take Mari’s senior photos and they did not disappoint! As my cousin and lifetime bestie, Mari and I have taken A LOT of photos together. Around the time I got my first camera we woke up at dawn to take photos in Mari’s yard. It’s been so sweet to watch the progression of my photography, as well as watch Mari grow up through the years.

Mari had a vision for her shoot which included lots of blue skies, blue water, and hazy blue mountains. Somehow we got all three! While I thought nothing could beat the photos in the water at Smith Mountain Lake, on our way back I saw a fence with beautiful sunset light and those stole my heart.
